I have an associate of arts degree in history and english. I am currently a student at SMC working on getting a bachelor's degree of arts in history and english. 

I noticed that SMC does not have a college student teacher program that is focused on discussion of alternative paths that SMC BA college students and students who plan on going into teaching can take after graduating from SMC. The alternative paths that the interest meeting and the panel will focus on are the traditional route to take to take the Praxis exam to get certified and get a teaching license or join an alternative education program and take the Praxis exam to get certified and get a teaching license. 

My career plan after college is to study for the Praxis exam to get a teaching license and go into the field of teaching at a middle school teaching history.
